From a regional distributor passionate about glassware, to a Singapore-designed, internationally awarded brand — this is how SKLO was shaped by craft, collaboration, and conviction.
CHAPTER 01 — ORIGINS
A PASSION FOR BEAUTIFUL GLASS.
SKLO — pronounced S-Klo, meaning “glass” in Czech — was founded in Singapore in 2022 with a purpose: to elevate the appreciation of fine glassware and drinkware in Southeast Asia.

SKLO became the official exclusive distributor of Květná 1794 — a storied Czech glassworks with over 230 years of hand-blown heritage — bringing Bohemian craftsmanship to Southeast Asia for the first time.

212 of Singapore’s finest wine professionals — the Sommelier Association of Singapore — brought rigorous technical expertise to the table. Together, SKLO and Sommelier Association Singapore built a structured methodology evaluating glassware aesthetics, wine structure, aroma intensity, and flavour clarity.

Technical Criteria
CHAPTER 02 — COLLABORATION
Designed with Singapore’s finest.
SKLO partnered with the Sommelier Association of Singapore (SAS) to co-create a wine glass engineered for Asian palates — balancing aroma, structure, and flavour clarity in a single elegant form.
CHAPTER 03 — THE CRAFT
30 weeks of obsessive refinement.
SKLO and SAS worked hand-in-hand with Květná 1794 artisans through multiple rounds of mould fabrication and blind testing. Each sample was shipped, evaluated, and refined — until the glass was perfect.
THE PROCESS
The tulip-shaped bowl and paper-thin rim were not arbitrary — every curve was calibrated to enhance how wine opens on the nose, balances on the palate, and lingers in the finish. The result: a glass that performs as beautifully as it looks.
